Kathleen A. Moran

Education

Kathy graduated with highest honors and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Notre Dame in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. In 1992, she graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law.

Professional Experience

Kathy joined the firm in 2005 and was elected a Director in 2009. She practices in the areas of probate, real estate transactions, banking and business law, supports the firm’s estate planning practice, and advises business clients regarding employment matters. She also has had substantial involvement in numerous significant sales and acquisitions of businesses, both in and outside of the oil and gas industry since joining the firm.

Kathy was admitted to practice in California in 1992 and practiced in Los Angeles for several years. She was admitted to practice in New Mexico in 2006. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

Civic Activities

Kathy currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Economic Development Corporation of Lea County. She also serves as an officer and director of St. Helena School.
